Faizullah Zaki Faziullah Zaki Fazullah Zaki, son of Mohammad Ibrahim,  was born  in Jawzjan Province and raised in Kabul and earned a degree in Geology from Kabul University. He made it from communist youth functionary (DYOA head for Kabul in the s) to deputy leader of Jombesh, a non-mujahedin tanzim, the military-political network established and led by now First Vice President Abdul Rashid Dostum.

In Zaki moved his family to Uzbekistan where he was the Deputy Director General of Quyosh Co. LTD., a family company.
